Ministerio de Bienvenida/Welcome Ministry
Have you ever visited a group or organization for the first time and not know or recognize anybody? For some people it can be a nerve wracking experience! The Welcome Ministry at Dios es Amor Lifeteen makes that first time visit a comfortable and easy experience! The Coordinator is always looking for new visitors to the group. This is the first person a visitor sees. The Coordinator then proceeds to introduce the new visitor(s) to the rest of the Core and the Spiritual Director. Afterwards, the Coordinator takes some basic data from the visitor(s) and in the Life Night presents the new visitors without asking them to stand up. At the end of the Life Night, the Coordinator invites the new visitor(s) to consider joining the program at which time the registration form is completed for our records. Each week for the next three weeks the Coordinator follows up with the teen asking for comments, suggestions and opinion on the Life Night and Life Teen Mass. All comments and suggestions are welcomed and reported in the monthly Core meeting. After this period, the visitor is considered an official member of Dios es Amor LIfeteen!
Music Ministry/Ministerio de Musica
What is a Life Night without music to animate, vivify, and spiritualize the soul? Clapping, learning new songs, and joy are what characterize the Music Ministry. The musical goal for each Life Night is to have the teens praise God through song and worship. Don't be surprise if teens are lifting their hands to God in praise, eyes closed, and swaying to beat of the music! Everyone here learns to praise God with music! Do you think you have a good singing voice? Let us know and we'll be happy to hear you and maybe include you in our Music Ministry! Que es un Life Night sin musica para animar el alma? El aplaudir, el aprender cantos nuevos y la alegria expresan nuestro ministerio de musica. La meta musical del ministerio de musica es que los jovenes aprendan a alabar a Dios por medio del canto y la alabanza. No te sorprenda si ves jovenes alzando sus manos al cielo, ojos cerrados y moviendo al son del ritmo de la musica. Todos aprenden poco a poco a alabar a Dios atravez del canto. Crees tu que tienes una voz para cantar o sabes tocar algun instrumento? Dejanos saber y tal vez podra pertenecer al ministerio de musica!

Prayer Ministry/Ministerio de Oracion
So you don't know how to pray, eh? You need not worry. The Prayer Ministry coordinator manages all aspects related to prayer. He also manages and coordinates in union with the Youth Minister retreats for Dios es Amor Lifeteen. Be sure to attend the awesome retreats offered by our program! It is here that you will learn to pray! Entonces no sabes orar, eh? No te preocupes! El coordinador del ministerio de oracion maneja todos los aspectos relacionados a la oracion. El coordinador, en union con el Ministro de Jovenes, coordinan los retiros para Dios es Amor Lifeteen! Asegurate de asistir a estos maravillosos retiros dado durante el ano. Es alli adonde aprendera a orar! Evangelization Ministry/Ministerio de Evangelizacion y Mision
Ever thought of what it would be like to go out into the neighborhoods, preach Christ, and bring people back to the Church? This is what the Evangelization Ministry helps prepare our teens to do: to become neighborhood missionaries and bring fallen away teens and their families back to the Church! Teens will learn how to speak to Catholics about our faith and even counteract Protestant arguments against the faith! The Coordinator conducts training and preparation for teens interested in evangelizing. We are called to be apostles, take advantage of the free training through our Dios es Amor Lifeteen ministry! Has pensado como se sintiera salir por el vecindario, predicar a Cristo y traer personas a la iglesia de Cristo? Esto es precisamente lo que el ministerio de evangelizacion ayuda a nuestra juventud: a preparar misioneros en busqueda de traer jovenes catolicos "caidos" y llevar a ellos y sus familias de nuevo a la iglesia catolica. Los jovenes ya preparados para servicio en este ministerio aprenden tecnicas de evangelizacion y hasta aprenden como defender la fe! Liturgy Ministry/Ministerio de la Liturgia
Do you have what it takes to make a good proclaimer of God's Word? Do you find that you enjoy serving people and are outgoing and friendly? Do you like to serve the priest at Mass? If you answer yes to any or one of these questions, we invite you to consider serving in the Liturgy Ministry. In this ministry we provide training to serve in any one of our liturgical ministries: Usher, Altar Server, and/or Lector. In each training session, we provide training on the spiritualities of each ministry and the practical stuff needed to serve well in these ministries. Teens are invited to talk to the Liturgy Coordinator, the Priest, or Youth Minister if interested in serving. You may also contact us at diosesamorlifeteen@hotmail.com.
