St. John Bosco Church of Miami has the most awesome, dynamic youth ministry in the Archdiocese of Miami! Why you may ask? That's easy! Because we have the LifeTeen program! So what is LifeTeen? LifeTeen is an awesome youth ministry program designed to bring teens closer to Christ. This is achieved through the Liturgy (the Mass) and the Life Nights (the youth group). In the LifeTeen Mass, you'll see our music ministry, Shalom, animating the community comprised of teens and their family. We give out music sheets to help with the singing and the teens sit in their own special section! The priest invites the teens up to the sanctuary just before the consecration to allow the experience Jesus more closely and what a powerful moment it is! The Life Nights brings the message of Christ and his Church directly into the hearts of the teens. We meet each Wednesday from 7PM to 9PM in the Youth Hall directly above the parish chapel. Each Life Night brings a different message and the group is rarely the same each night! There is singing and praise, skits, plays, the teachings of the Church and the bible and plenty of faith sharing. During our send portion of the night, we often go down to the chapel to pray in front of the Blessed Sacrament or pray and worship Christ. The Life Nights are truly unforgettable! |
